Biography of Mark Zellner

I started fooling around with guitar when the guitar was bigger than me. I started getting serious with it around the time KISS came out. I was playing some lead guitar by around 15 or 16. That's when I became interested in getting a band together.

Although my grandpa and uncle Randy were always a constant influence in guitar playing I gathered some additional inspiration from Frank Medley. He was one of the first guitar players outside the family that I looked up to. This was way before jam nights (i think).

Mike was the first bass player I'd ever worked with and we learned a lot together. Mike had a birthday party/practice at my house and invitied 4 girls from Madison High School over and that's how I met my wife Pam. We've been married 22 years now and have 2 daughters

I've played in the following bands in this order:

Searum is going to be a lot of fun because it seems like we're all pulling in the same direction with our playing and goals.
